Chemistry

Quinlen Marshall ’20

“Chemistry taught at CSB/SJU is unlike chemistry taught anywhere else. The group-based approach to learning was incredible. The critical thinking and problem-solving skills this method encourages are superior to what a lecture-style class could provide. It also supports a much more rigorous understanding of the fundamentals of chemistry, which are critical in upper-level courses and across other physical and life sciences. In addition, the faculty are incredibly encouraging of conducting independent research both within and outside the department. The chemistry major was the best combination for me to develop as an independent thinker and scientist.”
