Zhenhu Jin

Zhenhu completed his Ph.D. in finance at the University of Houston in 1994 after eight and a half years in graduate school. He received two master degrees before getting his Ph.D. His scholarship interests are generally in the areas of corporate finance (dividend policy, stock repurchase, stock splits, IPO, etc), monetary policy, and international finance. He has published over 40 papers in peer reviewed academic journals.

Prior to joining CSB and SJU, Zhenhu was a professor of finance at College of Business, Valparaiso University for twenty years. He was an assistant and then an associate professor of finance at Illinois Wesleyan University between 1994 and 2002.

Zhenhu has extensive consulting experience both domestically and internationally. He has been an arbitrator for Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (formerly National Association of Securities Dealers) since 1998. He has heard many cases.

Zhenhu loves teaching and believes strongly in liberal arts education.

He teaches Fundamentals of Finance, Corporate Finance, and Current Issues in Finance.
