Annual Report Resources
Annual Reports are broken in three submissions with different due dates throughout the year. They are:
Report of the Action Plan (RAP)
The RAP is geared towards department reporting and updating progress towards meeting Action Plan items, agreed on by the academic departments and Academic Affairs administration following the completion of Program Review. This report is due May 31st of each academic year.
Program Assessment Report (PAR)
The purpose of the PAR is to use assessment evidence to identify change and potential improvements that enhance student learning. The reports are largely based on deparment learning goals or outcomes. This report is due November 15th of each academic year.
General Educaion Assessment Report (GEAR)
The purpose of the GEAR is to identify changes and improvments to the program, supported by assessment evidence, as it relates to the Common Curriculum, Divisional Learning Goals, and Departmental Learning Goals (THEO, FYS, MATH; not to be confused with the PAR). This report is due February 15th of each academic year.
The purpose of the Curricular Map is to provide an assessment timeline and identify when a program will assess departmental, Common Curriculum, and other institutional learning goals.
Specifics for each annual report sections can be found in the Procedure for Programmatic Assessment of Student Success or PASS.
If you have made changes or updates to your curricular map, please include those changes as part of the PAR or forward an updated map to the Dean of Assessment.
