Maggie Mattacola is the Director of Marketing & Communications for the Recycling Association of Minnesota and the Executive Director of SWANA. She will speak on trends in recycling; with a particular focus on shoes, athletic equipment and collection at both indoor and outdoor sporting events.

November 16th, 4:15 p.m: Community Sustainability Forum for Trash, Recycling, and Zero Waste


This is the first in a monthly series of community forums about sustainability on our campuses. This month, we'll have a discussion about trash, recycling, and a vision of becoming zero-waste campuses. The forum is open to all staff, students, faculty and monastics. There will be a 15-minute presentation about these topics, followed by a half-hour free discussion. Come and learn, ask questions, get answers,meet other people interested in sustainability, and get involved!
