August 12: Beginning the Journey Parent Program Webinars

Dear Parents and Families of our new CSB and SJU Students,

Welcome! Thank you for supporting your student’s decision to attend the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. We look forward to their arrival on campus on August 27 and 28. Due to the COVID-19 situation, move-in day will look different this year and we are not able to offer an in-person parent orientation program. Instead, we are inviting you to sign up for three webinars taking place on August 17, 18 and 19, each focused on a different aspect of the student experience. Additionally, there will be another webinar on September 15 that will be an opportunity to receive an update from CSB/SJU and for you to share your experiences and questions with us. Please use the links below to register for any of the webinars that are of interest to you. All of the webinars will be recorded and posted on the Parent Relations websites for those who may not be to attend or would like to revisit the information at another time.

Learn more about how the campuses have responded to COVID-19, health and counseling services, safety and security services, and the support and resources available to students.

New Parent Check-In Webinar

Tuesday, September, 17, 7:00 – 8:15pm

This webinar will be an opportunity to receive an update from CSB/SJU leaders and for you to share your experiences and questions with us.

Students often seek out their families for guidance, encouragement and a listening ear, but that can look and feel different as they embark on their college experience. We value the support you provide to your student and want you to feel welcomed as members of the CSB/SJU community. When you arrive on campus for move-in day, please stop by the Parent Information table to pick up some helpful resources and ask any questions you may have.

We also encourage you to check the Parent Relations website for information that will be helpful to you know and throughout the academic year.
