February 3: COVID-19 Update on Events, Gatherings and Meetings

Dear CSB/SJU Students and Employees:

As we move through spring semester, I want to thank you all for your patience and cooperation regarding temporary changes to our campus environment because of COVID-19. We continue to see fewer positive student and employee cases per day. This is wonderful news and will enable us to fully resume our on-campus activities.

As of Monday, Feb. 7, events, gatherings and meetings:

  • Can be held with 100% capacity
  • Are able to have food and beverage
  • Events that currently require vaccination or proof of negative test will continue to do so

As a reminder, masks are temporarily required indoors, as well as on transportation. Exceptions to the temporary masking requirement include:  

  • When seated and actively eating or drinking
  • Residence hall private rooms  
  • Private offices   
  • Outdoors
