Homecoming 2022 Schedule
8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saint John’s Football Tailgate, SJU Athletic Fields Parking Lot (P2 on map)
All are welcome to join the festivities in this paid, reserved lot. Park elsewhere on campus and walk into the lot to join alums, parents, and friends. Pack light and carry in your tailgate fare and refreshments. It is a great way to start the Homecoming celebration!
9 a.m. Homecoming Bike Ride, in front of the Abbey Church Bell Banner, Saint John’s University
A casual 16-18 mph pace through St. Joe to Cold Spring Bakery and back to campus. A total of 30-35 miles. Unsupported ride (bring your own water, spare tubes, phone, money). Open to all alums, students, friends. RSVP on this Facebook event or by emailing ride organizer John Krawczyk ’90 ([email protected]).
9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Schu coffee shop is open, Dietrich Reinhart Learning Commons, SJU
9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. The Refectory offers pay at the door breakfast (9-11) and brunch (11-1:30), SJU
10 a.m. CSB/SJU Swim & Diving Alum Meet and Social, Warner Palestra Pool and outdoor pool patio deck, SJU.

Boz Bostrom ’95: The New Start. CSB/SJU Accounting professor Boz has a new book that is a financial thriller. Face-paced and intriguing, this tale of corruption, mystery, romance, and action is sure to captivate readers.
Dr. Wayne Liebhard ’79: Walking the Tightrope – Trusting Your Life to Telemedicine. Dr. Liebhard’s new book takes a close look at the new Age of Telemedicine. Is it another great promise by some to “save” healthcare in the United States, or another panacea? His new book provides answers and a path forward, and is considered a must-read for all consumers of medical care.
Steve Shipley ’75: False Trust: Can Blake Trust Anyone? This is Shipley’s debut crime thriller novel, and it begins in Albany, Minn. before the protagonist moves to Australia. There are direct connections in the novel to the CSB/SJU Computer Science department, the Abbey Church, and the Saint John’s Bible.
