Alum Spotlight
Michelle Hansmann '16 Major: SOCI Campaign Manager -Amy Walen for State House of Representatives-
" I would encourage students interested in this career path to take risks and pursue meaningful work. It is important to be open to change. I was raised a conservative Catholic, and never would have thought I would be on this side of the political spectrum. Having an open mind and learning about issues before taking stances and making decisions is crucial."

Students- in-Action

Ismail A Ali Major: COMM Athlos Academy -Student Intern-
" The most beneficial aspect of my experience was being a role model to Somali students. Multiple times I heard Somali students look at me as they were talking to their friends and say, 'He’s Somali.' They took joy in seeing someone from their community work at their school. Representation matters and as they see me succeed, it sends the message they can too."
