How did you find out about your internship/fellowship/etc.?
I found about the internship through networking with people through LinkedIn.
What were your responsibilities at your internship/fellowship/etc.?
I would manage customers at a certain body shop and make sure that they were to get into the most fitting rental vehicle while there car was being fixed. I would also sell protection products on the vehicles to make sure they are protected while in the rental car
What was the most beneficial aspect of your experience?
The most beneficial aspect of my internship was gaining the sales experience and making connections with my customers and co-workers.
What was the most surprising thing you experienced or learned during your internship/fellowship/etc.?
The most surprising things I learned while working for Enterprise Holdings was how hard they pushed for employee development. They were also pushing me every day to learn something new and figure out what works and what doesn't work with sales.
How can you apply what you experienced at your internship/fellowship/etc. in the future?
With wanting to go into sales in the Future, this internship really helped me learn how to sell both tangible and intangible items which may be a struggle for some people.
What advice would you offer to future students interested in this experience?
The best advice I have for people is don't be afraid to go out of your comfort zone. With some jobs you will be thrown to the sharks. That will help you grow out of your comfort zone and as a overall person
