Break Information

Keep in mind the following important dates & be sure to check your email regularly for the most up-to-date information. 

Campus Apartments remain open during Break Closures (excluding Summer Break).

The CSB Residence Halls (Corona, Aurora, Regina, Brian, Margretta, & Lottie) are closed for breaks during the following periods:

Thanksgiving Break

November 21 (8 p.m.) - November 26 (9 a.m.)

Semester Break

December 16 (8 p.m.) - January 15, 2024 (9 a.m.)

Spring Break

March 1 (8 p.m.) - March 10, 2024 (9 a.m.)

Summer Break

May 12, 2024 (6 p.m.)

*Please note that Campus Security will be on duty in the event of an emergency. We ask that unless circumstances truly prevent you from doing so that you make plans to be away from campus during this period of time.

End of Semester

Students are required to check out of their residence halls, campus house or apartment within 24 hours of their last final (or last due date for final projects). We ask that students who are finished with their academic work leave so as to allow the remaining students, still studying for finals and students on final projects the best environment possible to complete their work.

Students are required to check out of their residence halls, campus house or apartment within 24 hours of their last final (or last due date for final projects). All campus residence areas (apartments, houses and residence halls) close at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11th. Students who are graduating on Saturday, May 13th and those moving to summer housing will be permitted to remain past this time provided they complete the required late stay request.
