David earned his BS in business administration from Saint John's University, an MA and PhD in economics from George Mason University. He is currently a senior advisor with Leading Authorities Incorporated, former President and CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters and worked as president of the National Beer Wholesalers Association. Prior to joining the Beer Wholesalers, David was the chief lobbyist, US House of Representatives, for the National Federation of Independent Business. He has been featured in a number of US media outlets including the Boston Globe, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and ABC World News Tonight. He has been ranked by Beachum's Guide to Key Lobbyists as one of the 125 most influential lobbyists in Washington, DC, and is listed by Washington Life magazine Power 100 list. David and his wife Ashley reside in Arlington, VA. They have three children, Andrew, David, and Emily.
