Jose Peris

Retired, Regional Manager and Senior Vice President of US Bank

Jose retired in July 2018 from U.S. Bancorp after 32 years where he held a variety of executive positions in Wealth Management and Corporate Banking.  Jose retired from his role as regional manager of Ascent Private Capital of US Bank, a group focused exclusively on the wealth management needs of ultra high net worth individuals and their families. Prior to joining U.S. Bank's Wealth Management Group in 2001, he was responsible for the Financial Services Group of U.S. Bancorp covering Insurance Companies, Investment Managers, Broker Dealers, and Banks. In 2008 , Jose was recognized by Worth magazine as one of the Top 250 Wealth Advisors in the U.S. He has also been selected by Twin Cities Business as one of the Best Personal Wealth Manager in the Twin Cities area in 2008, 2009, and 2010. As an active community volunteer, Jose is on the board of The American Friends of the Prado Museum (Madrid, Spain), Heller-Hurwicz Economics Institute of the University of Minnesota and The Minnesota Opera.

Jose has a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Minnesota. He graduated with honors from the school of business and economics of the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid in Spain. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife Diana Gulden. They have one son who graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2009.
