Source to Sea: Dancing the River of Life

Directed by David DeBlieck
Gorecki Family Theater

Performances:

This diverse collection of student and faculty choreographed dances explores the rich and complex ways we navigate our relationships and the world around us. Utilizing modern dance, contemporary, lyrical, tap, Bahamian and other dance styles, our cohort of 12 choreographers has created a production to engage the senses. A focal point of the show will be an intergenerational dance with CSB and SJU students and elder dancers from the community, some of whom are retired CSB and SJU faculty. The show’s director, David DeBlieck, will also team up with dance professor emerita, Leigh Dillard, to create and perform a twisted tango to the fiery music of Astor Piazzolla.
