About The Hive
Referrals & Flags
Faculty can use The Hive to connect students to resources like academic advising and financial aid. Faculty can raise flags opening communication with students, their faculty and any appropriate parties (like an advisor) or resources (such as Financial Aid). Flags can be raised for concerns related matters such as academics, behavioral, or financial concerns.
Faculty and staff can utilize High Fives to give encouragement to students acknowledging achievements, contributions to class or the community, and to recognize on important milestones during their time at CSB/SJU.
Students can use The Hive to make appointments online during times designated by faculty, staff or departments for appointments. Students will go to their personalized Success Network to view the people and services they are connected to in The Hive. Both scheduled appointment and walk-in availability can be reflected in The Hive.
Sustainable Connected Records
Records can be kept in a sustainable way eliminating paper files and allow better communication and support for students. Information that has been siloed is now accessible to those with a relationship to a student (i.e.faculty advisor) to be able to better support and guide students as they make decisions about their college and career journeys.
Success Plans and Progress Surveys
Faculty, staff and students will have integrated prescriptive processes available to help streamline communication and action items. These plans or surveys can be assigned at the individual level or a defined group like a class.
