Earth Week 2022 - Invest in Our Planet
This is the moment to change it all — the business climate, the political climate, and how we take action on climate. Now is the time for the unstoppable courage to preserve and protect our health, our families, and our livelihoods.
For Earth Day 2022, we need to act (boldly), innovate (broadly), and implement (equitably). It’s going to take all of us. All in. Businesses, governments, and citizens — everyone accounted for, and everyone accountable. A partnership for the planet.
At CSB/SJU, we're taking this Earth Week to give back to our community and share the good news - We are the climate generation! Our actions, large and small, global and local, change our world.
CSB/SJU will be hosting the following events.
Monday, April 18

Climate Justice Club Divestment Panel 5-6 in Pengel 269
Q: What is Divestment?
A: Taking the school's endowment (investment money) OUT of environmentally harmful investments, including but not limited to fossil fuel companies (ex. Exxon, Shell), energy companies (ex. Enbridge, who bankrolled Line 3), and extractive industries (ex. mining, fracking). We believe it is morally unacceptable to give money to these groups.
