The Sisters of Saint Benedict support YTM. Here's why.

S. Judy Kramer, OSBDuring the closing days of the Summer Institute, the Summer I youth are given a challenge: between their first and second summer, they are to plan and implement a leadership project back in their home community. They present these projects to a YTM Vocation Partner community during their second summer in the program.

My community heard several incredible presentations, from a group who undertook an ambitious beautification project on their parish grounds, to a pair of young women who painted a mural at their church, to a team who started and led discussion groups for youth and parents as part of their parish's faith formation program.

The ancient Benedictine motto of ora et labora, "prayer and work," is finding new energy and expression through the youth who participate in YTM. We are so pleased to continue supporting YTM as a Vocation Partner community.
