Biography

What is special about the SOT/Sem?

This is place where people choose to come and where people are chosen to be–at a certain time, with certain others — discovering what the Lord has in mind for their journeys. Discovering all the elements of that choice and leaning into the delight of being so chosen–this is the gift of SOT-Sem.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

Two favorites: The Blue Bench on the front porch of Emmaus Hall, looking at Lake Sagatagan and the second row, second seat in the Abbey choir stalls, looking at the Abbey Church window. Awe, wonder, gratitude and joy always flow over me in these holy spots.
