Seeing the Word
Seeing the Word is a program of guided reflection that makes it possible to pray with images from The Saint John's Bible - the first handwritten and illuminated Bible commissioned by a Benedictine Abbey in more than 500 years.
Seeing the Word was created in 2009 by Saint John's School of Theology and Seminary in partnership with Liturgical Press. Barbara Sutton, D.Min., is the director of the program, editor of the Seeing the Word Reflection Guides, and author of the Seeing the Word Program Manual. Irene Nowell, OSB, is author of the reflections found in the Reflection Guides.
