Speaking...and Listening? The Second Vatican Council's Commitment to Young Adults
March 12-13, 2013
Saint John's Abbey Guesthouse
Cost: $75.00 (includes housing and meals)
The first time the Church officially addressed young adults in modern times was at the close of the Second Vatican Council. It could be said that since that time the Church has been in dialog with young adults in a variety of different ways. The Bishops, inspired by the work of the Council, proclaimed in their address to young adults that the council was undertaken for the youth. After almost 50 years of this dialog between the Church and young adults, how has the Church lived up to this image and what have young adults had to say in return?
