Today's Readings

Jesus words in the Gospel for the V Sunday of Lent bring new light for us confined to participate in Mass remotely. We know we are dispensed from Sunday Mass, but for us it is not just a duty to do. For us it is a celebration and an encounter with our beloved community and with our Lord. Today, Jesus is telling us, in the midst of COVID-19, that this illness is not to end in death, but is for the glory of God. My hope is that you are already seeing many signs of life around you and our hearts are moved to glorify God.

I do not stumble; I am walking in the light. I do believe.

Jesus is the resurrection and the life. “Yes, Lord I have come to believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, the one who is coming into the world.” Jn. 11:27

Reflection Questions

Where and/or how are you seeing the glory of God around you during these times of COVID-19?

I’d to invite you to post in your social media accounts a picture, an image or a phrase of where you see the glory of God.
