Monastic Tradition sees spiritual growth as a process of inner unification. This corresponds to what Christian authors have often described as "contemplation". The workshop will help to reflect on innder unification, contemplation, and the role of spiritual guidance in this process.

The workshop is on March 29,2019 at 8:30am - 1:30pm. It will take place at Saint John's University, Quad 264.

Luigi Gioia, OSB, is currently Visiting Scholar of the Divinity Faculty as Cambridge University. Along with his academic work, he has also given retreats around the world. His new book is Touched by God: The Way to Comtemplative Prayer (Bloomsbury, 2018).
