Johnnies Connect Far from Home

Jeff Smith '99 recently accepted a position as director of strategic relations for Common Hope. His first official assignment took him to Guatemala, where he met was Tom Gelhaus '75. Tom volunteers a week or two each year to treat patients at Common Hope's dental clinics. In Guatemala, they worked with  Renato Westby '95, a 17-year Common Hope employee. These Johnnies posed for a photo while doing the work that brought them together.
