SJU Presidential Search Update

The Board of Regents recently announced that it will continue the 150-year tradition of having a Benedictine monk from Saint John's Abbey serve as president. Jim Frey, Chair, and Ann Huntrods, Vice Chair, reported that the Board hopes to be in a position to act on a nomination from the Chancellor of the University, Abbot John Klassen, OSB, at the board meeting on May 18, 2009, for appointment effective July 1, 2009.
