As one of the most anticipated events for young alum this fall, it finally happened last Thursday and it certainly did not disappoint. Platinum Bank in Oakdale, MN hosted a Young Alum Networking Event on September, 24. It was a huge success with over 50 CSB/SU alumni in attendance. It was a wonderful opportunity for young alum to network with professional CSB/SJU alumni. They were able to talk casually with business professionals in their specific field over hors devours and drinks.

"For me it was a great night because I was able to catch up with old friends and meet new faces. I love that I went to a school that continues to encourage ,care, and support their students even after we have graduated," said Jenna Ferguson, a CSB '09 grad who was in attendance.

It was hosted by David Rom, CEO & Director and Founder of Platinum Bank.  David is responsible for organizing Platinum Bank and gaining regulatory approval as the only new bank approved in Minnesota in 2006.  The Bank counts 14 of the 100 investors as SJU alum.

For those of you who missed out on this amazing get-together, there are a few things you can do to make sure you don't miss the next.  First, join the St. John's Alumni Association group on Facebook.  Second, write an email to [email protected] in order to get on the alumni mailing list.
