Diaz Confirmed as U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See

Theology professor Miguel Diaz has been confirmed as the United States Ambassador to the Holy See (Vatican). President Obama nominated Diaz in May. His nomination was confirmed by the full U.S. Senate on August 4.
