Chuck Waletzko '77 has been named as the executive director for the Normandale Community College Foundation.
Chuck Waletzko '77 has been named as the executive director for the Normandale Community College Foundation.  He assumed his new position on April 1, 2008.

Waletzko has a long relationship with Normandale Community College, including a student counseling internship with Normandale admissions counselor Jack Ellis as part of his Master's program in 1990.  Several of Chuck's family members have also attended Normandale Community College.

Waletzko holds a master of arts in human development with a focus in counseling from the University of Saint Mary in Winona. He is a very active community volunteer and is the recipient of the Channel 11, "Eleven Who Care" volunteer award and the St. John's University Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award.

His professional experience includes more than fifteen years of experience in fundraising and non-profit management, with a special connection to the south suburbs and Bloomington.  He was most recently the Minnesota Area Director for Walsh & Associates.  In that capacity, he conducted over 30 non-profit and church capital campaigns throughout the Upper Midwest, ranging in size from $1-7 million over the last seven years.

The key to his success is his commitment to meet the highest professional fundraising standards. Having taken a very hands-on and personal approach with each of his clients, the fundraising results and customer satisfaction were excellent.

Prior to going to Walsh, Chuck was the Executive Director of Bridging, Inc. a Bloomington based non-profit organization providing free furniture and household goods to disadvantaged families in transition.

In these roles Chuck has gained extensive experience in fundraising and non-profit management and it has allowed him to build an extensive network of contacts.
