Dr. Austin McCarthy '38 Receives Alumni Achievement Award

Austin McCarthy '38 (center) was presented with the SJU Alumni Achievement Award in April as recognition of his 40-plus years as a doctor and surgeon, serving thousands of families, in the Willmar area. McCarthy also served as president of the Minnesota State Board of Medical Examiners, on the Minnesota Medical Association Committee in Sports Medicine and on the SJU Central Minnesota Alumni Chapter board of directors.
