At the Saint John's Volunteer Summit on May 17, C.J. Lyngen was named the new president of the Alumni Association. C.J. and his wife, Tricia (1992, SJU/SOT 1999), have two daughters, Leah (8), and Lucy (6), who adore Saint John's and Saint Ben's. C.J and family live in Rogers, just a short drive to SJU - a jaunt they often make. He brings infectious enthusiasm, a joyful sense of humor and a fervent affection for his post as president of the National Alumni Board.

C.J. is energized by his involvement with others. He's an area sales manager for Owens Corning, selling building materials, promoting Owens Corning's marketing services and educating customers on building systems. He travels much of the time and enjoys meeting with customers and socializing.

His social nature and spirit of camaraderie have led naturally to his involvement as an alumnus. C.J. lives the Benedictine values of hospitality, obedience, stability, and community in all areas of his life.
