Article V. Assistants to the SJS
- Executive Assistant:
- An Executive Assistant shall be selected by the Executive Council immediately following the general election.
- Duties and responsibilities.
- To maintain mandatory attendance at all full SJS meetings.
- To serve as secretary for all full SJS meetings.
- To print and distribute agendas prior to all full SJS meetings.
- To print and distribute minutes for all full SJS meetings by the Thursday following that meeting.
- To be responsible for getting approved minutes to the Public Relations Assistant for posting on the SJS web page.
- To create Agendas for every meeting of the SJS and take down accurate minutes during the meeting
- To keep Senate office clean and organized
- To assist the Executive Board with recordkeeping and sharing of information within the senate
- To keep track of office supplies and pertinent senate materials
- Public Relations Assistant

- To post the approved SJS minutes on the web page
- Assist the Public Relations Representative with marketing and promotion of the SJS
- To assist the Public Relations Representative with their job duties listed under Article 1, Section D, number 5.
- Assist the Public Relations Representative with marketing and promotion of the SJS
- To meet with the Public Relations Representative at least once per week
- To be a voting member of the Public Relations Committee, but not a voting member of the SJS
- To attend all SJS meetings
- Manage and maintain all Saint John’s Senate Public Relations equipment in conjunction with the PR Representative
- To serve as the Saint John’s Senate official photographer and videographer in conjunction with the PR Representative
- To organize SJS Senate pictures once a semester.
- To complete and update the SJS board that is located at the ground floor of Sexton.
