Article II. Executive Board
Section A. President
- The Senate will elect a President from its membership by a majority vote. Upon the Senator’s election, the President shall be relieved of the Senator’s duties as a member of the standing board to which the Senator was originally elected. The President’s former position shall be assumed by the next highest vote recipient for that board.
Section B. Vice President
- The Senate will elect a Vice President from its membership by a majority vote. Upon the Senator’s election, the Vice President shall be relieved of the Senator’s duties as a member of the standing board to which the Senator was originally elected. The Vice President’s former position shall be assumed by the next highest vote recipient for that board.
Section C. Student Trustee Representative
- The Senate shall elect a Representative to the Board of Trustees from its membership by a majority vote. Upon the Senator’s election, the Student Trustee Representative shall be relieved of the Senator’s duties as a member of the standing board to which the Senator was originally elected. The Student Trustee Representative’s former position shall be assumed by the next highest vote recipient for that board.
- If a vacancy occurs in the Student Trustee Representative position for any reason, the Senate shall elect a new Student Trustee Representative from its membership. The President, however, shall be excluded from being elected.
