CSB/SJU Club Accomplishments and Recognition
The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University have many clubs that are doing extraoridnary things. Check back regularly to see the accomplishments and recognition our clubs have received.
Ballroom Dance Club
The Ballroom Dance Club participated in their first ballroom dance competition in February of 2010. This was the first competition that we've ever participated in. It was called the "Star of the North Dancesport Classic" (See website: http://sotn.usadance-mn.org/) and took place in the Ukranian Center in the cities. Anna Bergstrom (Class of 2011) danced a "Jack and Jill Cha Cha" where she was paired with random partners from different schools for each round. Her and her final partner placed 5th in that dance, and received a certificate. Stacy Skroch (Class of 2011) and Ben Underhill (Class of 2010) danced a "Lindy Hop" and they placed 1st in their dance, winning medals for their finish.
SIFE
The SIFE team placed at the National Competition in May for the first time in many years! We were so excited and are positioning ourselves this year with great new projects to empower our surrounding communities. Here is a press release: http://www.csbsju.edu/CMS/SIFE-Nationals.htm
Spanish Club
Spanish Club was just voted to have the funniest t-shirts of all the CSB/SJU clubs on campus.
