Career Services preparing students for upcoming job fair

With the fall semester half over, we at Career Services are starting to turn our thoughts to events and programs scheduled for early spring semester. One major event for Career Services occurs in February, the Minnesota Private Colleges Job and Internship Fair in Minneapolis. Our office will start informational meetings for students in November and continue these through January and early February.

Help your child stay healthy for the remainder of the semester

As your son or daughter ventures into the second half of the semester, they may be experiencing higher levels of stress.  One impact of increased stress s is a suppressed immune system and a likelihood of getting sick.    CSB students who are experiencing cold or flu symptoms are encouraged to visit CSB Health Services.  SJU students are encouraged to use the Health Partners Central MN Clinic SJU campus or one of the area health clinics.

SJU housing deadlines announced for 2013-2014

As the fall semester comes to a close, students are starting to look ahead and consider their housing options for the 2013-2014 academic year. We in the SJU Department of Residential Life and Housing have completed the process to request exemption to the residency requirement during the fall semester, and now we want to provide you some information as your son approaches you for advice in regard to his housing decisions for the upcoming year.

CSB Campus Ministry Care Package Program

Thank you, parents, for your support of the CSB Campus Ministry Care Package program. We, along with your students, are very grateful for your generous participation. Particularly heartwarming is the number of you who purchased extra care packages for international students whose parents reside abroad. Wow! Your generosity is truly amazing. If you have not yet purchased a care package for your student, there is still time.  Print an order form.

Diane, husband John Stemper and daughter Nicki Stemper spent time with David during the weeklong interval between the study site in Rome and the site in Athens, Greece. Here is her story.
