Studying pays off for first-year students

Members of Academic Advising and the CSB and SJU Residential Life offices have recognized Aurora F at CSB and Mary 1 at SJU as the first-year floors with the highest cumulative GPA this fall. Each year, Academic Advising and the Residential Life offices co-sponsor an award for first-year floors with the highest cumulative GPA's.

"These GPA's represent a lot of hard work and hours of study on the part of the residents," said Jason Kelly, assistant dean and director of academic advising.

The winning floors will be honored with a floor pizza party, and plaques will be hung on each winning floor.
