The Saint John's Pottery maintains an archive of several collections relating to indigenous practices in Japan as well as the historical record of Pottery Studio programs and activities at Saint John's. In addition, many of the most unique ceramic works have been digitally photographed by professional museum photographers.

Archived images are assigned a digital file number (or "DFN") to assist with the process of cataloguing and archiving historically important works related to the studio. Please contact The Saint John's Pottery for inquiries related to complete collection details, copyright information, and accessibility.

The archives and its contents are made possible in part thanks to the Mary Livingston Griggs and Mary Griggs Burke Foundation, the Grotto Foundation, and the Jerome Foundation. In addition, a selection of artwork from the Johanna Kiln is available for viewing online through Vivarium, a service hosted by the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library.
