Why did you join Mock Trial?
I wanted to pursue my passion for the law and meet others who had that same interest.
What has been your favorite memory so far?
My “Broken guidelines, broken windows” close. I flipped an opposing team's theme in closing arguments at the St. Thomas meet and got perfect scores for it. Also winning a witness award at our first virtual tournament.

I did it in High School and enjoyed it very much.
What has been your favorite memory so far?
Qualifying for ORCS.
Madeline Orozco (co-President)

Why did you join Mock Trial?
I joined after hearing about it in my International Relations class my freshman year.
What has been your favorite memory so far?
Playing the card game, “I Dissent” during the St. Thomas meet!

Why did you join mock trial?
I joined because Sydney told me to and to learn more about what it is!
What has been your favorite memory so far?
Just being with the team. They are all so supportive and uplifting!
Emily Twardy

Why did you join Mock Trial?
I joined Mock Trial because it’s basically performing, but you get to win.
What has been your favorite memory so far?
I love every moment with my Mock Family, but especially hosting everyone at my house during tournament weekends.

In the future, I hope to one day go to law school.
What has been your favorite memory so far?
This is a super hard question, because I have so many! A few would either be when we went to ORCS OR the meets we spent at Emily’s house, because we all bonded the most there, and that when the mock family started!

Denny’s. That is all.
Landon Peterson

Why did you join mock trial?
I joined mock trial because I have aspirations of attending law school/being a lawyer post-college. I had done some debate in high school, and mock trial seemed right up my alley.
What has been your favorite memory so far?
My favorite memory is the scrimmage we did in spring. It was a ton of fun to be able to play a critical role in the trial and I look forward to the upcoming years of mock trial.

I joined because I enjoy the show Better Call Saul and want to replicate the unmatched legal skills of Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman.
What has been your favorite memory so far?
When I rocked the Danny Francazio mustache look....by far.
