Maple Syrup Field Trips

Students of all ages will invoke all their senses while learning about an important Minnesota tradition.

Field trips typically include the following activities:

• Tour of Maple Sugar Shack

The Minnesota DNR’s publication, Minnesota Conservation Volunteer, has a Young Naturalist section on maple syruping. Read the article and view the teacher’s guide to using it in the classroom.
