The College of Saint Benedict to Host MPR Program, "A Literary View," With Bill Holm

ST. JOSEPH, Minn. -- The College of Saint Benedict is hosting the first of Minnesota Public Radio's (MPR) new series of programs titled "A Literary View," at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, in the Alumnae Hall, Haehn Campus Center on the CSB campus. Noted author and poet Bill Holm will present his own writings, musings and observations, along with those of authors such as Walt Whitman and Tomas Transtromer, while being accompanied by pianist Dan Chouinard. The audience must be seated by 7:15 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. show time. While the event is free, reservations are necessary. Call 320-363-5020 to reserve your free ticket.

Originally from southwestern Minnesota, Holm is the author of many essays and books, including "The Heart Can Be Filled Anywhere on Earth: Minnesota, Minnesota," "Coming Home Crazy -- an Alphabet of China Essays" and "Eccentric Islands: Travels Real and Imaginary."
