Pastiche Performance on May 8

Collegeville, Minn. -- Pastiche, a chamber music ensemble featuring artists and professors from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, will present a concert at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 8, in the Stephen B. Humphrey Theater of Saint John's University.

The ensemble's repertoire includes music from the Renaissance through the 20th century. A part of the 1997-98 Saint John's Presents performing arts series, the concert will feature works by Johannes Brahms, Claude Debussy, Gabriel Faure, Bryan Beaumont Hays, and Franz Schubert.

Members of the performing group include CSB/SJU music department faculty members Edward Turley, piano; Willem Ibes, piano; Patricia Kent, soprano; Robert Koopmann, OSB, piano; Joanna Shelton, violin; Bruce Thornton, clarinet; and Carolyn Finley, soprano.
