Participants from 18 states converge on CSB and SJU for Liberal Arts Illuminated conference

The three-day Liberal Arts Illuminated conference ended Wednesday, July 11. The conference, hosted by the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, gave participants the opportunity to address the challenges faced by liberal arts institutions but also to affirm and celebrate the core values that underpin a liberal arts education.
The conference attracted 160 participants representing 30 colleges and universities and 21 organizations other than schools, and came from 18 states. It’s the second time CSB and SJU hosted the conference, which was first held in 2016.
