Gabriella Lott is an exceptional student and undergraduate researcher. Working on a novel drug design project with Associate Professor Edward McIntee and Professor Emeritus Henry Jakubowski, she has synthesized and characterized over 20 unique compounds using a combinatorial approach. But that’s just the start for Lott. She is captain of the CSB Figure Skating Team and president of the CSB/SJU Biochemistry Club. She is active in the orchestra. And she volunteers with Community Kitchen and the Student Health Assistant Program. She is driven by the positive experiences she has had with medical professionals throughout her life, and intends to become a “physician-scientist who listens to learn and cares for patients in the way I have been treated.”
