CSB/SJU professor to sign copies of his book Saturday, Sept. 26, at SJU Bookstore

Bob BellBob Bell '94, assistant professor of accounting and finance at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, will be signing copies of his book "Un Moving Four Ward: Tales and Tips for Keeping Perspective Despite Life's Challenges," from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 26, at the SJU Bookstore.

The book chronicles the challenges he faced as quadriplegic, and offers tips and for dealing with hardships and trials.

Both hardcover ($24.95) and paperback ($14.95) editions of the book will be available for signing by Bell.

The book signing occurs before the Saint John's football team faces St. Thomas at 1 p.m. at Clemens Stadium.

During his first year as a student at SJU in 1989, Bell broke his neck while roughhousing in Tommy Hall. He returned to SJU two years later, and completed his degree in accounting in 1994.

Following graduation, Bell worked in the tax department at Arthur Andersen, with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and in corporate finance with two Wall Street firms.

He returned to teach in the CSB/SJU accounting and finance department in 2010.
