Brandon Nordhues
Brandon Nordhues is beginning his first year conducting the All-College Choir at CSB and SJU. He is currently in his twelfth year as one of two choral directors for Sartell High School. He earned a master's degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Conducting at the University of St. Thomas where he studied with Dr. Angela Kasper and Dr. Karen Howard. An active member of ACDA-MN, Brandon was selected as an Outstanding Young Choral Director, a VocalEssence creative programming award recipient, and served as one of the 7-8 CTB Honor Choir co-chairs. Brandon worked for The St. John's Boys' Choir for 13 years as the Associate Artistic Director and taught a course on Secondary Music Methods for music ed majors at SCSU. He graduated in 2009 from Saint John’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music Ed and Performance where he studied voice and conducting with Dr. Axel Theimer. Brandon enjoys acting, music directing, and accompanying local musical theatre productions in Central Minnesota.
