Digital Commons Student Submission Form

[email protected]/SJU is our web based institutional repository for digital content produced by students, faculty, and staff at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. It is a permanent archive that highlights exceptional student achievement, including Honors Theses, capstone projects, academic papers, poster presentations, artwork, performances, and other work. By placing your project in [email protected]/SJU, all materials are searchable via Google Scholar and other search engines. This makes your work more visible and more likely that it can add to the scholarly conversation in your discipline. It also gives you an easy way to direct future employers, graduate programs, and colleagues to the exemplary work you’ve done. Materials located herein are freely accessible to the world; however, your copyright protects against unauthorized use of the content. This is a non-exclusive agreement; you may publish all or part of this work in another forum at any time and in any format. The agreement will remain in force unless terminated by you.

Note that we must receive departmental approval (from your department chair or coordinator as an email to [email protected]) before student work can be deposited in [email protected]/SJU. If you are submitting material for Celebrating Scholarship and Creativity Day please disregard this note -approval is obtained through the abstract submission process.

NOTICE OF ORIGINAL WORK AND USE OF COPYRIGHT PROTECTED MATERIALS
If your work includes images or other accompanying material that are not original works by you, you must include permissions from the original content provider or this material will not be included in [email protected]/SJU’s electronic copy. If your work includes interviews, you must include a statement that you have the permission from the interviewees to make their interviews public. Failure to follow proper copyright procedures may delay or prevent your project from being posted to Digital Commons.

I have read the above statement and agree to make my submitted work available to the CSB/SJU community and to the larger scholarly community in our permanent digital archive [email protected]/SJU or its successor technology. By signing this form, I acknowledge that all work contained in this paper or other submitted work is original work by me or includes appropriate citations and/or permissions when citing or including excerpts of work(s) by others.
