Digital Publishing

The CSB and SJU Libraries can offer basic support for faculty seeking to publish their work online. Whether you want to create open educational resources, demonstrate high-quality student work, or simply make your research easier for others to find, we can help. Contact your liaison librarian to determine what resources are available to you.

DigitalCommons

DigitalCommons the institutional repository for the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, is a platform for sharing your scholarship with the world. DigitalCommons can host journal articles, book texts, anthologies and multimedia works.

Minnesota Libraries Publishing Project

The Minnesota Libraries Publishing Project gives authors access to Pressbooks, software used by many small and independent publishers to design books. Through MLPP, you can generate and export books for digital distribution, or print-ready for a print-on-demand supplier. Books can be hosted at MLPP, in DigitalCommons, or commercial entities.

Author Rights

Librarians cannot offer legal advice on managing your intellectual property rights. We suggest you refer to the SPARC(the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition) guide to author rights for questions to ask when you consider publishing your work.
