JEC Committees


The Joint Events Council is made up of a CSB and SJU Co-Chair as well as seven committees. Five of these committees consist of 15 members and one or two executive co-chairs. Each of these committees are responsible for planning events that fall under certain categories. Typically, each committee meets once per week in order brainstorm and plan their events that occur approximately once per month.

Committee members can expect their time committment to be one hour for each weekly meeting, and one evening per month for their event. Additional time commitments may include small responsibilities to be completed on their own time, as well as assisting with the preperatory tasks during the week of the event.
