Access Campus Resources from Home

Launch Virtual Computer Lab (or install for PC or Mac) to access campus software and network drives.

If you experience problems installing the Virtual Computer Lab Client, you can go to and choose HTML Access to run in a browser window.

Laptops are available for long-term checkout from the CSB/SJU Libraries. We are adding laptops to the checkout pool as quickly as possible, so please drop by the information desk at either library to check availability.


Use OneDrive (online training) to share and collaborate on documents.

Zoom Video Conferencing

Meet online from your computer using Zoom. Password protect your Zoom meeting if you're concerned about uninvited visitors to your meeting. More details about Zoom Security including how to password protect a previously scheduled meeting. Meeting options include video conferencing, screen sharing, recording, and live streaming ( Zoom Help). This is adaptable for various sizes of groups. 

Zoom for Students Instruction Sheet

You might be invited to a Zoom meeting via Canvas or email. A short videos shows How Students can access Zoom Meetings in Canvas and if you are invited via email, How to Connect to a Zoom Meeting: Joining a Meeting & Initial Configuration has over 3,000 free online courses on business, technical and creative skills and is used in some courses at CSB/SJU to teach software or other skills. You need a Great River Regional Library card in order to sign up for courses . With your GRRL library card information, you can log on to A short video demonstrating how to login.

LockDown Browser

View instructions on how to load LockDown Browser on your PC or Mac if your instructor asks that you use this tool for an online assessment.

Adobe Applications

Do you need to use one of the Adobe Creative Cloud programs for course work? Contact the Help Desk (x2228) and they can grant you access to download programs for use the rest of this semester.
