Data Visualization in the Curriculum

Data visualization is the practice of presenting information in a visual format. This typically refers to tabular data being displayed in a way that allows people to derive new meaning or more clearly see trends within the data. Our Data Visualization Sequence describes how we’ve incorporated this technology in the classroom to help students learn a new skill in addition to learning about how data can be used to tell different stories.
