Class Year:

Place of peace on campus:

In my room

I'm most authentically myself when I'm....

I'm always myself :)

Quick Bio:

Sade is my name, born and raised in beautiful islands of The Bahamas, specifically a tiny island called Ragged Island. I'm a rising Junior and my major is Nutrition with a concentration in Dietetics. My hobbies are listening to music, watching/reading anime & manga, cooking and chilling with my girlies. There isn't much I can say in a quick bio because it's so much to a person, so you should come meet me yourself. I enjoy meeting new people the most! :D

Campus Involvement:

Archipelago Association, Nutrition Club, CSBSJU Student Ambassadors

What does the phrase "intercultural competency" mean to you?

To be able to communicate, respect and value people coming from cultures other than yours.

About which aspect(s) of diversity are you most passionate?

What advice would you like to give to first-year students?

Be yourself. Keep a positive attitude and open-mindedness. Don't dwell on your mistakes, learn from them. Should've, could've, would've isn't coming back.

What advice would you like to give to continuing students?

Continue reaching your goals,"The tests we face in life's journey are not to reveal our weaknesses but to help us discover our inner strengths. We can only know how strong we are when we strive and thrive beyond the challenges we face."
