Why did you choose to study abroad and how did you decide on this program?

I chose to study abroad in general so that I can learn from around the world. I picked London in particular because I was able to travel across Europe and progress my career with an international internship.

Briefly describe a specific cultural experience you had on your program that made a lasting impression.

In every single place I visited, I learned something interesting. It was cool to be able to feel like I was living as a Londoner and experience their day to day with public transportation. The way they live and interact was unique, and I am grateful I got to be a part of it.

Based on your experiences abroad, what are some of the benefits of spending a semester abroad? How has studying abroad contributed to your personal, academic, and professional development?

I benefited from expanding my worldview and understanding of cultures. I was also gifted with the opportunity to work internationally which expanded my professional knowledge and skills.

What advice can you offer for CSB+SJU students who are considering or planning to study abroad?

I would 100% recommend any program that CSB+SJU has. I would advise them to ask as many questions as possible and to do fun research. I loved coming in feeling prepared with tips and tricks as well as a bucket list to accomplish abroad.
