Why did you choose to study abroad and how did you decide on this program?

Austria is so beautiful and I loved how centrally located it was!

Briefly describe a specific cultural experience you had on your program that made a lasting impression.

Honestly I feel like my whole study abroad experience really immersed me in a new culture. Everything from riding the bus to grocery shopping helped me gain a new perspective and made me so adaptable.

Based on your experiences abroad, what are some of the benefits of spending a semester abroad? How has studying abroad contributed to your personal, academic, and professional development?

Studying abroad changed me forever. I have made the best lasting friendships and just learned how to adapt in new environments and work with people from different backgrounds.

What advice can you offer for CSB+SJU students who are considering or planning to study abroad?

Do it!! Take the leap. It’s so scary to think about but you will not regret it. It changed my life completely for the better and I am so beyond grateful for the experience.
